Glass Flake lining

Glass Flake Lining (also known as glass flake lining) is a type of industrial coating in which very thin glass flakes are embedded in a resin matrix, usually epoxy or vinyl ester. These glass flakes overlap like the scales of a fish, creating an extremely dense and protective barrier. This makes it virtually impossible for moisture, chemicals or gases to penetrate to the underlying material.

This coating technique offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Thanks to its high density and mechanical strength, Glass Flake lining is extremely suitable for applications in the chemical industry, power plants, offshore installations and water treatment plants.

Applications of Glass Flake lining

Glass Flake lining is widely used in environments where traditional coatings degrade too quickly. Some examples:
